James S. Elliott, MD

Dr. Elliot specializes in Sports Medicine with an emphasis on reconstructive procedures of the knee, shoulder, foot and ankle.
Dr. Elliott received his undergraduate degree from Carroll College in Helena, and then attended the University of Washington School of Medicine. A residency in the Department of Orthopedics at the University of Chicago followed, as did a sports medicine fellowship at Cincinnati Sports Medicine.
Dr. Elliott is president of the Montana Orthopedic Society, and is a member of the Western Orthopedic Society, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North American and the American and Montana Medical Associations. He is an adjunct professor at Rocky Mountain College in Billings and a clinical instructor for the Montana Family Practice Residency and Sports Medicine Fellowship programs.

Steven J. Klepps, MD

Dr. Klepps specializes in Sports Medicine with an emphasis on injuries of the shoulder and elbow injuries.
Dr. Klepps graduated from Caroll College with a degree in biology. Having been awarded a Distinguished Student Scholarship, he attended Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, where he also completed his internship and residency. A fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow followed at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City, where he was also a clinical instructor.
An adjunct professor at Rocky Mountain College, Dr. Klepps is a clinical instructor for the Montana Family Practice Residency and Sports Medicine Fellowship programs. Team physician for Rocky Mountain College, Montana State University-Billings, Billings Mustangs and Billings District II Football Teams, Dr. Klepps is a member of the Montana High School Association Medical Advisory Committee. He also provides outreach services for Roundup Memorial Hospital and Wheatland Memorial Hospital in Harlowton, and is a reviewer for the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery and for the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery.

Joshua S. Bowler, MD

Dr. Bowler, MD received his medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine after completing his undergraduate degree in Physiology and Developmental Biology from Brigham Young University. He then performed a five-year orthopedic surgery residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Bowler then chose to complete a specialized fellowship program in Orthopedic Sports Medicine at The Ohio State University’s Jameson Crane Sports Medicine Institute where he worked with athletes from across Ohio State Athletics.

Our Services
We provide both surgical and non-surgical treatment options to our patients. However, if surgery is the right solution to your problem, we have particular skill in the operating room. Our expertise includes ligament and joint reconstruction, arthroscopic surgery, rotator cuff repair, and knee surgery just to name a few. We use the most cutting-edge techniques and have access to the most advanced equipment and instrumentation. We work closely with our physical therapists and athletic trainers to provide a team approach to your rehabilitation so that optimum recovery is achieved as soon as possible.
