  • Accomplishments: All-state wide receiver, All conference wide receiver, Selected to Great Falls Tribune “Super-State” Team

Winter Sport: Wrestling

  • Number of years Varsity: injured early in my first year

Spring Sport: Track and Field

  • Number of years Varsity:1
  • Events: 110 meter hurdles, 100 meter dash, Long jump, 4x100 meter relay, 4x400 meter relay
  • Accomplishments: State finalist in 110 meter hurdles (4th place), State finalist 100 meter dash, State finalist Long jump, State finalist in 4x100 meter relay (4th place), State finalist in 4x400 meter relay (5th place)
  • 2011 Little League World Series
  • Billings Big Sky Little League All-Stars

Injury: Left Radial Shaft Fracture with Internal Fixation

When did the first injury happen?
Freshman year, first wrestling tournament, posted my arm on the mat and the opponent landed on it.

What was going through your mind in that moment?
I did not think it was broken and continued to wrestle

How long were you out?
12 weeks

What was involved in your recovery?
Physical therapy and rest

What was your biggest adjustment returning to sports?
I had to be patient when getting back into things

Looking back, what was the most difficult part while you were out of sports due to the injury?
Not being able to lift weights or better myself physically

What advice do you have for other athletes that find themselves in a similar situation due to an injury?
Be patient and stay positive. You will be back to normal in no time.

My greatest moment in sports so far is:
Playing in the Little League World Series with my best friends

My future goals are:
Win a State Football Championship, Play college football at the highest level, Win a State Track Championship, Graduate high school with high honors

My parents are:
Mark Sulser - Building Activities Coordinator and math teacher at Billings Senior High, Jody Sulser - Associate Principal at Lewis & Clark Middle School

My siblings:
Ben Sulser (22) and Morgan Sulser (20)
