Dr. Nich Pertuit is the director of Health and Human Performance department at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. Nich specializes in Human Performance in the domains of Sport and Health, and has been working in the teaching and performance realm for 15 years. He holds a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Health, Exercise and Sports Sciences from Texas Tech University. Along with his PhD, he is holds the highest ranking of Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
His list of accomplishments is far ranging with consultant work being done with, Stanford University, Cal Poly Pomona, the University of Texas, and the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. Nich has also helped build the first ever Health and Human Performance Mobile Lab at Rocky Mountain College, along with rewriting the HHP curriculum for the RMC department. Nich even spent some time as a professional athlete kicking for multiple teams in the Arena Football League.
Nich loves soccer, animals, the state of Montana, reading and enjoying life. His wife, Laura, and him just welcomed their baby girl Ellie into the world this June, and love spending time in the mountains with their dog, Koda.
Cody Osborne is currently in his 5th year as an athletic trainer. He has spent the last four years working primarily as the head athletic trainer for Billings Central Catholic High School. Prior to that, Cody worked as an athletic trainer for one season with the Orlando Magic NBA Franchise.
He enjoys fly fishing, working on classic cars, playing basketball, and camping with his fiance Kendra. Cody has a Masters Degree in Athletic Training from MSU-Billings and a Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Montana- Western.
Savana grew up in Bridger, MT before attending college at the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. There she pursued her Bachelors in Science majoring in athletic training and playing for the Marauders volleyball team. Savana continued her education at UMARY where she earned her doctorate of physical therapy in 2011. Savana’s interests lie in the athletic population and include not only the rehabilitation side but also the preventative side. Working with athletes to get them back on the court and field performing to a better and stronger capacity is her passion.
Savana enjoys spending time outdoors and attending sporting events with her husband Shawn and their four kids Lauren, Colt, Raigen and Rush. .
Dr. Richard England is currently working on his Montana Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship training with Ortho Montana and Athletic Medicine & Performance. Originally from Salt Lake City, UT, he completed Medical School at St. Matthew’s University in Cayman Islands, BWI and his Residency at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale Family Practice Residency. He attended Southern Virginia University for his undergrad.
Nikki is a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Nutritionist. She has been involved in athletics since she was a young and was born and raised here in Billings, MT. She is a graduate from both Whitworth University in Spokane, WA and Montana State University. She completed for Dietetic Internship through the state of Montana. During her time as a dietitian she has owned her own outpatient nutrition counseling business, works inpatient clinical dietetics and outpatient services at St Vincent Healthcare, and blogs at www.nu-nutrition.com. Her passions in dietetics are in weight management, sports nutrition, and bariatric nutrition. Outside of work she spends her time running, biking, skiing, hiking…anything outdoors.
Zac left the world of marketing and public relations for his passion of health and fitness. He is the owner of ESP Wellness, LLC and is a Corrective Exercise Specialist and a Fitness Nutrition Specialist.
